Surry/Stokes Fuller Center for Housing, located in one of the most scenic areas of the northwest portion of the state of North Carolina, has organized and is ready to begin work. Based in Pilot Mountain they will service Surry and Stokes counties where over 17% of the population is below the poverty level. Their primary focus will be to help existing low income homeowners with critical and necessary repairs through the Greater Blessing program. 

Their first projects will include replacing an oil tank, replacing a kitchen sink and counter, sealing a leaky skylight and replacing unsafe steps. They are in need of skilled volunteers, board members who wish to focus on overseeing construction projects as well as communication and public relations.
