South Walton County
Location
The Fuller Center of South Walton County, Fla. Was established in July of 2008 by longtime community volunteers Bob Dean and George Sutherland. The board is comprised of concerned local citizens from various churches and civic organizations. The primary focus will be to repair existing homes by assisting deserving homeowners with basic repairs to their homes through the Greater Blessing program. The Fuller Center of South Walton County plans to partner with many local churches and organizations to focus on the needs in the Florida panhandle.
Current Project:
South Walton County Fuller Center is currently partnering with Lazarian Homes in building a new one bedroom home for homeowner Perry Simpson. The home is made from a technique used by Lazarian Homes with an insulated concrete form polystrene foam blocks. The new energy efficient home will replace an old existing mobile home that is no longer repairable. South Walton County Fuller Center expects to construct a second Lazarian Home in the area in partnership with the Muscogee Indian Nation of Florida.
