Join us Sept. 6-10 in Indianapolis, Ind., the international host city for the Millard Fuller Legacy Build of 2010. To honor our founder and his vision of a grassroots movement working to end poverty housing, The Fuller Center will be building 7 new homes in addition to renovating 15 in Indianapolis during the build week. In addition, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis will be partnering with Central Indiana Fuller Center to build one new house during the 2010 Millard Fuller Legacy Build in the same area. During that same time period, an additional 100 houses will be built, renovated or dedicated across the U.S. and around the world.

HISTORY of the Millard Fuller Legacy Build.

We are calling all volunteers to be a part of this monumental project! Join us for an unforgettable week of working with people from all over the country, of helping to uplift our partner families and improve communities, and of building a better world, one house at a time.

On May 14, volunteers and special guests completed a week of service in Indianapolis and dedicated the first renovated home as part of the Millard Fuller Legacy Build 2010. Read more about the event here.

Donations are still needed to fund the projects in Indianapolis. Please give to help the homeowners have a safer, healthier, better future.

See you in Indianapolis!

A special note from Fuller Center President David Snell:

"We at The Fuller Center are thrilled to be coming to Indianapolis for the Millard Fuller Legacy Build. This is a place that was close to Millard's heart. He and Linda led a team of walkers 700 miles from Americus to Indianapolis to celebrate Habitat for Humanity's 7th anniversary, and it was in Indianapolis that Habitat held its 25th Anniversary during the somber days after 9/11.

Now we're returning with joy to celebrate our 5th anniversary by building new houses and renovating old ones. There could be no more fitting memorial to Millard’s dream and no more fitting place to make it happen."
