Koinonia Farm, the birthplace of Habitat for Humanity and The Fuller Center for Housing, is located just outside Americus, Ga. The first Habitat-style homes were built at Koinonia in the late 1960s, and many of these houses are now in need of repair. Through its Heart to Heart repair ministry, the people at Koinonia are assisting homeowners in making those repairs, utilizing The Greater Blessing program.

Work Teams:

In rural communities like Koinonia Farm, the need for volunteer labor is critical. With the capacity to house volunteers, Koinonia Farm is welcoming to groups of volunteers who would like to participate in a serving and learning capacity. These work teams could spend time working on repairs with Heart to Heart, learning about the history of the Farm, and studying the works of one of Koinonia’s founders, Clarence Jordan. To inquire about volunteering, contact Elizabeth Dede at 229 924 0391or
