Joplin Area Fuller Center has organized in Joplin, MO, with an emphasis in repairing the damage caused by a devastating tornado that ripped through the city in May of 2011. Their focus will be new home construction and repair of existing homes damaged by the tornado. Organizing board members have begun the process of identifying areas of need and will start shortly working with area families.
An estimated 7,500 residential homes were damaged by the storm, leaving approximately 17,000 people affected. The Joplin tornado killed 161 people. To learn more or volunteer please contact Bob Barker at 417-459-8713 or Randy Crane at 417-763-7434 or click on volunteer button below.
