Greater Atlanta Fuller Center was honored by the Atlanta Planning Advisory Board for their work in helping restore neighborhoods. Their work has helped restore homes and neighborhoods through the Greater Blessing program.
Recent Project:
The Fuller Center of Greater Atlanta received a donation of a home and was able to turn it around to become the home for another low income family. The Fuller Center of Greater Atlanta has helped the family become homeowners through their sweat equity and homeowner education program.
Project Lakewood-The Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Atlanta received a grant from Atlanta Renewal CORA to acquire and rehabilitate 5 - 10 homes in the Lakewood Heights Community. In a partnership with the Lakewood Heights Civic Association and Sustainable Lakewood, homes are being identified along with homeowners for the acquired properties. The Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Atlanta and partners such as Atlanta Reia are partnering with workdays to make a difference in the Lakewood Heights area of Atlanta. Upcoming Build: 911 Memorial Build- Sept. 11, 2011
Greater Atlanta Fuller Center will be building and repairing for a local "First Responder" who is in need of home repairs in rememberance of those fallen on that fateful day. Come and be part of the work in honor of those that lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
