Fuller Center for Housing of Macon, GA has organized to help serve Bibb, Twiggs, Jones, Monroe, Crawford, and Houston Counties with low income housing solutions through the Fuller Center for Housing's Greater Blessing program. Located in the central part of the state and with a population of over 155,000 in Bibb County alone, the needs are great for helping families maintain and upkeep their homes. Fuller Center for Housing of Macon, GA is preparing to work on their first projects and volunteers are needed. April 28th- The Flights of Fancy Birdhouse Sale and Auction-Sale and silent auction from 11:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. Live auction, free event and open to the public, will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the atrium of the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. Learn more about the event.

Fuller Center for Housing of Macon's first Greater Blessing project for homeowner Ms. Ann Brown brought together many partners from the Macon community. Lumber and supplies was donated by Marshall Lumber and ABC Supplies, members of the Glorious Hope Missionary Baptist Church signed up to volunteer, and the professional team at Schwartz Roofing partnered with Fuller Center for Housing of Macon to get the job done. Schwartz Roofing tore out all the existing roofing and replaced the steepest parts of the roof, leaving the lower parts of the roof for volunteers to complete.
Volunteers gathered at Ms. Brown’s home to swing into action, completing the roofing job and doing a massive clean up of the roofing debris. The Greater Blessing project took place on November 19th with volunteers presenting Ms. Brown a Bible and a Greater Blessing box as part of the dedication.
