We can't think of a better place to kick off our West Coast journey than in the largest city in the Pacific Northwest – Seattle, Washington – which was also the start of our 2011 ride. There will be a day and a half of getting to know each other during orientation, followed by a send-off ceremony on Sunday. Then we'll start our 1,600 mile journey down the beautiful West Coast!

To kick off our West Coast expedition we'll travel through the lush forests of western Washington and then cross the Columbia River into Oregon. After crossing the river, we will travel down the stunning Oregon coastline, where we'll experience the sights, sounds and smells of the Pacific coastline!

7/16    Bike to Chehalis, WA (60 miles)
7/17    Bike to Naselle, WA (89 miles)
7/18    Bike to Tillamook, OR (81 miles)
7/19    Bike to Newport, OR (73 miles)
7/20    Bike to North Bend, OR (96 miles - Segment 1 riders depart)
